Usage Agreement

By inviting the bot and using its features (commands, welcome system) you are agreeing to the below-mentioned Terms and Privacy Policy (Policy) of the bot.

You acknowledge that you have the privilege to use the bot freely on any Discord Server (Server) you share with it, that you can invite it to any Server that you have "Manage Server" rights, and that this privilege might get revoked for you if you're subject of breaking the terms and/or policy of this bot, or the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and/or Community Guidelines of Discord Inc.

Through Inviting the bot may it collect specific data as described in its policy. The intended usage of this data is for core functionalities of the bot such as command handling, guild-specific settings, in-game history tracker, and more!

Intended Age

The bot may not be used by individuals under the minimum age described in Discord's terms of service.

Affiliation

Genshin Wizard is not affiliated with, supported by, or made by Discord Inc. Any reference to Discord or its trademarks is purely coincidental and we do not claim ownership of any of Discord's assets, trademarks, or other intellectual property.

Liability

The owner of the bot cannot be held liable for individuals breaking these terms of service. We trust that users will be truthful and will not misuse the bot or Discord in any malicious way. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, giving users a one-week period to opt-out if they do not agree with the changes. Users may opt-out by removing the bot from any server they have the right to do so.

Privacy Policy

Usage of Data

The bot may use stored data, as defined below, for different features including but not limited to: Showing banner statistics, showing wish history, in-game statistics progression, in-game abyss progression, and character builds sheets (information for character build sheets is retrieved from Enka.Network). No usage of data outside of the mentioned cases will happen and the data is not shared with any 3rd-party site or service.

For the core functionality of specific features found within the bot, the user's message content may be utilized within channels that have opted-in for the feature. The contents of messages are not directly stored nor are the contents of messages used for anything other than the core functionalities of that specific feature.

Users who register using the HoYoLAB method agree to have their account used as a means to expand the Genshin Wizard horizon by allowing the bot to use your account cookie to search up information regarding a Genshin Impact account, whether that be the user's own progression or another player's progression information.

Users who enable automatic HoYoLAB Daily Check-In automatically opt-in to receiving daily notifications from the Genshin Wizard bot. Notifications are sent out at around 16:00 UTC via private messages if private messages are enabled. In the event that private messages are disabled, the user will receive a notification through the Official Genshin Wizard Server.

Stored Information

The bot does not store any data upon being invited to a Discord server. Over time, the bot may start storing certain information in order to carry out the functionality of the bot.

The information stored within the bot can be managed directly by the user using the bot. The bot contains a privacy setting that allows you to enable/disable viewing for other users within the server.

Updating Data

The data stored may be updated when using specific commands. Updating data will require the input of an end-user, and data that can be seen as sensitive, such as the contents of a message, may need to be stored when using certain commands. These commands generally take in modal responses to ensure privacy is maintained.

Temporarily Stored Information

The Bot may keep the stored information in an internal caching mechanic for a certain amount of time. After this time period, the cached information will be dropped and only be re-added when required. Data may be dropped from the cache pre-maturely through actions such as removing the bot from the Server.

Removal of Data

Automatic Removal: Stored data can be removed automatically through means of removing the bot from a Server. This can be achieved by either kicking or banning the bot from the server. Re-inviting the bot will add the same default values, as mentioned above, back to the bot's database.

Rights of the User

The bot respects the user's right to privacy and will not sell or share any personal data with third parties without the user's explicit consent, except as required by law.

Users have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and withdraw their consent to the processing of their data at any time. They also have the right to data portability, the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority, and the right to not be subject to automated decision-making. Users can exercise these rights by contacting the bot owner through the provided email address or Twitter account.

Updates to the Privacy Policy

The bot owner reserves the right to update this privacy policy at any time, giving users a one-week period to opt-out if they do not agree with the changes. Users may opt-out by removing the bot from any server they have the right to do so.

The bot may contain links to external websites. The bot owner is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these websites and users should review the privacy policies of these websites before providing any personal data.
